The singer died on Monday night at her residence close to Las Vegas, Nevada, her publicist Jay Schwartz mentioned. He didn’t affirm her reason for demise.

Motown founder Berry Gordy led the tributes to the star, giving a press release reported by US leisure web site Selection.
